These terms govern your use of this website and any booking you make with The Great Delta, [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], of [OFFICE ADDRESS, KHULNA]. Trade licence [TRADE LICENCE NUMBER]. Tour operator registration [FOREST DEPT. REGISTRATION].
Nothing here takes payment, and submitting a form does not create a booking. A contract between us exists only when we have confirmed your booking in writing and received your deposit. Until then, the prices, dates and availability on this site are an invitation to enquire, not an offer.
We keep this site accurate, but a price or a departure date can be out of date between an edit and your reading it. If what we confirm to you differs from the site, the written confirmation is what governs.
We may end a traveller's trip, without refund, for behaviour that puts other travellers, our staff or the forest at risk — being under the influence on open water, interfering with wildlife, or ignoring a safety instruction.
We will provide the tour we confirmed to you, with the nights, transport, guiding and meals stated. Where we have to change part of it, we will give you the nearest equivalent we can and tell you as soon as we know.
We cannot promise wildlife. The Sundarbans is not a zoo. Tigers, dolphins, crocodiles and birds appear when they appear. No itinerary on this site guarantees a sighting, and no refund is due for not seeing one.
We are not liable for delay, loss or disappointment caused by something outside our control: weather, a cyclone warning, flooding, hartals or blockades, a government or Forest Department restriction, an epidemic, or the act of another traveller. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the trip.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that the law does not permit us to limit.
We sometimes photograph a trip. We will ask before we use a photograph that identifies you, and you can say no at any time, including afterwards — write to us and we will stop using it.
The text, photographs, itineraries and design on this site belong to The Great Delta or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to us or quote us with credit. You may not reproduce whole pages, itineraries or photographs for commercial use without asking.
Tell us on the trip if you can — most things can be put right while you are still with us. If not, write to us within 28 days of coming home and we will reply within 14 days.
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands.
